Aleron Stable’s first week at the High Desert Classic started off great with a clean sweep in the Pre Green Hunters! Campari was Champion and Crosstown followed closely behind with Reserve Champion. They also finished 1st & 2nd in the Pre Green Classic. I love working with the young ones! Camille finished 2nd overall in the WIHS & 5th in the Maclay, Michaila 6th in the Maclay and 1st Eq 16-17 & Taylor was the highest placing non-professional in the 1.20s! Camille & Michaila both won a round in the Junior Hunters! Week II Campari swept the Pre Green division and took 2nd in the classic! This horse has come so far in the Aleron program. Crosstown & Selfie received high ribbons in the Pre Greens, A-6 was double clear in the 1.40m, and La Reserve and Quintero had great rounds in the performance. Congrats to all! Michaila and Camille were 5th and 6th in the Maclay, Camille scored 85 in the WIHS, Michaila received top ribbons in the Eq 16-17, Taylor was 3rd in the GP Ring, & baby Campy took 6th out of 47 in the National Derby!! THUNDERBIRD: So proud of Camille Leblond and Quintero for making it to the 2nd round of the Hunter Derby in the Grand Prix field. A very tough course with tougher competition. You’ve come so far in such a short time; I can’t wait for the years ahead. Special shout out to Campari for winning the Judge’s Choice award out of 38 rounds!
EARLY SUMMER CLASSIC: A great start to the Early Summer Classic for Aleron! Baby Campy was a star with a score of 85 and 2 blues in the Pre Greens, finishing as Champion of the division. A-6 was 4th in the 1.40m Classic. Camille also won the Sportsmanship Award and the 3’6” Jump Canada Medal.
Alexis and her new horse A-6 made it onto the Team NW Equestrian Sports Page! This week they debuted in the 1.30m Jumpers winning their first class together, finishing 3rd in another, and jumping to a 6th place finish in the Team NW Jumper Classic. Camille was 2nd in the WIHS Jumper Phase and won the WIHS Hunter Phase with a score of 84!
Aleron brought home lots of ribbons this week. Fritz received 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ribbons in the High Performance with one score of 86 leading him to become Champion in the division. Campari was 1st and 2nd in the Low Hunters and the Pre Green Hunters with scores of 82 and 83. Camille won the CPHA Medal and received a score of 82 in the Low Junior Hunters. She also finished 5th in the Junior Hunter Classic where the Lows and Highs were combined. Alexis was awarded High Scoring Developing Professional!
